Web-based self-help facility (Customer Online)

  • Login with your membership number and secure PIN - you will be prompted to register with a PIN the first time you login.

Bankmed mobile app

  • Download the Bankmed mobile app to your smart phone or feature phone and follow the prompts. You can download the app from the different app stores, or visit http://www.bankmed.co.za/app for instructions. If you already have a PIN to view and update your personal information via the login on our website, you will need to use the same PIN for the app.

WALK-IN SERVICE

Walk-in Services are those available at centres that Bankmed members can literally walk into. Whereas much of your interaction with Bankmed is via the call centre and through Client Support Officers at your place of work, or through written communication, Walk-in centres allow for you to physically "visit" Bankmed and speak to a Customer Service Agent. No appointment is required.

Services offered include (but are not limited to) assistance with claims, the completion of application and various forms (including plan selections) and general information, for example benefit confirmation, membership and premium information.

Bankmed has two Walk-in Centres:

Cape Town (Monday - Friday, 08h00 - 16h30)
Ground Floor, Adderley House, Cnr Shortmarket and Adderley Street, Cape Town

Pretoria (first Thursday of the month, 09h00 - 15h00)
Lower ground floor (next to the canteen), 175 Nedbank Plaza, Cnr Church and Beatrix Street, Arcadia
