You say potato we say… cauliflower

Cauliflower is a great alternative to the normal side of starch like potatoes, rice or pasta. It's so easy to make and tastes delicious when cooked with butter or coconut oil and spices.

The how low can you go breakfast wrap

Fry up some tomatoes, mushrooms and beef sausages. Make an omelette from whisked eggs and milk. Add cheese to your omelette after it's cooked for 2 minutes and make sure the cheese melts in. Add your fry up to the middle and wrap both ends over with a spatula and seal with some melted cheese. That is a wrap!

Avocado filled with tuna - avo boats

Slice an avo in half and remove the pip
Mix tuna and mayo and seasoning together in a bowl and add a scoop to each avo - voila! Tuna avo boats! You can take this up a notch by grilling fresh salmon and dressing it with lemon and olive oil instead of the canned tuna.

Brussel sprout and lettuce buns

Burgers are still delicious without the bun! After all, the flavour is in the meat pattie, cheese and sauce. Swap out your high-carb bun or lettuce and if you're making mini sliders try halved and grilled brussel sprouts.

Don't be upsetti there's zuchinni spaghetti

Saying arrivederci to pasta is not easy and probably the one thing you feel you cannot part with. But, we have good news for you! The alternatives taste delicious and compliment your bolognaise, cheese and walnut sauce, arrabbiata and cabonara sauce perfectly! Zuchinni spaghetti can be made at home by thinly grating zuchinni and boiling it for about 2 minutes. If you own a spirilizer even better, but it is also available in most supermarkets along with cauliflower noodles and spinach pasta.

The above dishes should have wet your appetites enough to want to get home and start cooking. If you ever need recipe ideas or advice then Google is your friend - there are loads of recipes for low-carb meals and each one as yummy as the next.
