Keep a positive mind: eliminate worry, relieve anxiety and stop negative thoughts
The signs of negative thoughts may not be evident immediately due to our daily lives and the schedules we stick to which as humans we feel is normal. However, when you live with a lot of mental baggage all the time it can really creep up on you and sit on your shoulders like another form of energy that you don’t need.
You might not notice the clutter fogging your mind, you might only notice the negative results of this mental baggage. Although often difficult to do it is very important to maintain your positive attitude. We've compiled some tips to help you keep a positive mind this year and focus on the good instead of the not so good.
Understanding your reality. By understanding your reality, you can start reacting completely different to the outside world. Why? Well now you can respond to the world the way you need to. Understand that for every negative there is always a positive. This approach will help in how to react to negative situations.
Get that 'get up and go attitude'. It's so easy to wake up feeling "aww do I have to get up" - this already sets your day up for failure. Waking up positive will need some practice and reminding that life really is good. How can we achieve this? Take some time every morning to make yourself aware of your surroundings and the things that make you happy. This works because it takes your focus off the negative feelings- you know, out of sight out of mind. If that really doesn't work, you can always start your day off with a nutritious breakfast or a gym session.
Read your way to positivity. Did you know intelligence is increased by 10% by reading positive books? Reading about people living their best lives or people who have overcome difficulties can be inspiring and motivational. You can turn their emotions into an unlocking mechanism for yourself.
Speak positivity. Our language plays a vital role in our lives. When you respond with a "fine" or "I am okay and you?" You are opening a room to a world of negativity because you already relaying a negative vibe. Little changes in your language can change the way you think and how you act. Whenever someone greets you and asks how you're doing do you answer with "fine" or "not too bad?" Think about what this language is communicating not just to others, but to yourself. Now imagine the word fantastic or amazing… You don't have to lie but it gives you re-assurance that everything passes and that moment too, shall pass.
Share the positivity. Did you know that 5 people around you share almost all the traits you have? Yes finance, mindset, lifestyle and family life. When you send positive vibes, you receive positive vibes. Surround yourself with positive people.
