Love your health

A healthy mind creates a healthy body, and a healthy body can assist you to create a more positive, constructive and balanced life. Negative lifestyle behaviour, pollution and the convenience of fast foods are some of the factors that lead to the increase in our population becoming obese and developing chronic conditions. Some people as young as their early twenties have developed conditions that were once only associated with older people.

This can all change and it starts with being positive about your health and changing your mind set. Here are some of the ways you can do that:

Change your mind to change your body

Learn to love the body you’re in and consistently take action on getting healthier and as fit as possible to suit your lifestyle.

Drink more water

By drinking more water, your skin will be softer, your complexion clearer, you'll eat less, your hair and nails will stay hydrated and you'll feel more energetic throughout the day.

Eating at home more regularly

Try avoid restaurants and highly processed packaged foods and prepare the majority of your meals at home, to be healthy.

Move your body

Ensure you are moving regularly; aerobic, strength and flexibility exercises will help you feel more energetic, fit and have you looking healthier.

Once you start to appreciate your body and health, you'll soon start to feel motivated to make healthier choices. It may be gradual but the more positive you feel about yourself, the more positively you'll begin to think and act.
