What registering for WhatsApp messages means for you
Ask Bankmed will immediately answer your product and benefit questions. We may in future send you personalised claims, benefits and rewards updates.
We won't send you marketing messages on WhatsApp.
Opting out is really easy - simply reply 'STOP' on WhatsApp and we'll unregister your number.
You can easily update your WhatsApp number by visiting the 'Update details' section of the Bankmed website.

Security and WhatsApp messages
We securely store all your interactions with Bankmed so that we can access them if needed. Your information is strictly confidential and we won't share it with anybody.
Messages between WhatsApp users are protected with an end-to-end encryption protocol so that neither third parties nor WhatsApp can read them. Messages can only be decrypted by the recipient. All types of WhatsApp messages (including chats, group chats, images, videos, voice messages and files) and WhatsApp calls are protected by end-to-end encryption. WhatsApp servers don't have access to users' private keys and WhatsApp users can opt to verify keys in order to ensure the integrity of their communication.
Your WhatsApp messages are stored on your WhatsApp Messenger app.
If your phone is stolen or lost and somebody gets access to your WhatsApp app, they will be able to read your messages. If you haven't updated your number or unregistered, they will also be able to use your app to get further personal information about your account.
